Your Visit to a Place of Historical Importance
Travelling is my hobby. Father encourages me a lot. Almost every year we visit various places. During my last puja vacation, I paid a visit to Murshidabad. It is a place of immense historical importance. We went there by Lalgola Express. We got up in a hotel there. There are many palatial buildings of historical and cultural importance. The Hazar Duari is a building of thousands of gates. The tombs of Sirajuddullya and Ghaseti Begam, Mirjafar, and Mirkashem are very attractive. These places on the banks of the Bhagirathi when illumined in the evening present a splendid picture. Practically I felt a strange eerie sensation. Besides, the dead history of the by-gone days became living and local to me. I also enjoyed rides in the Tanga. The entire tour left a lasting impression on my mind.
