(b)    Akbar the Great was the grandfather of Prince Khurram. 

(c)     Khurram first saw Arjumand Banu Begum at Meena Bazar. 

(d)    Prince Khurram was later known as Shah Jahan. 

(e)    “Mumtaz Mahal” means the brightest crown of the world. 

(f)      Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. 

(g)    Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world.

My Visit to A Place of Interest


(1) Last summer I visited the Bandel Church in Hooghly for a day’s outing.

(2) I went there with my parents.

(5) I enjoyed this short outing of mine very much.

My Journey to School

The distance between my home and school is approximately one kilometer. I always walk on foot to reach the school. My school is itself an important landmark in that locality. In the course of my journey, I see many things like a library, a hospital, and a market. I always love to go to school and learn something new. Its really exciting for me to go to school everyday.
