He-or she-is an athlete, an acrobat and a grim fighter. All day long the cat loafs about the house, takes things easy and allows himself to be pestered by the attentions of the poeple in the house. To pass the time away he sometimes watches a mouse - hole for an hour or two-just to keep hin self from dying of boredom.

About 47% children under five in the country, totalling 57 million, are underweight. Even sub-Saharan Africa is better off, with 33% of children malnourished.
These shocking figures have been mentioned in UNICEF'S 'Progress for Children : A Report Card on Nutrition,' released globally on Tuesday.
According to Dr. Werner Schultink, Associate Director, Chief of Nutrition at UNICEF, the causes for this malnutrition are many: bad quality feeding, high population density, high birth rate of underweight babies etc.

A serious Bank Robbery
Balurghat July 16, 2019 : A serious and miscreants bank robbery took place in the main branch of Balurghat. A gang of four robbers looted a hefty amount of Rs 5 lakhs from the SBI, Balurghat Main Branch today. It is reported from local sources that the robbers had come in a Maruti van and entered the branch at around 12:45 p.m. They threatened the staff at gunpoint and asked him to hand over all the cash. When resisted, he was shot dead. They fled away with the cash without any resistance. Police reached the spot and investigation is going on over the robbery. However, no arrests have been made so far.
