Ans.> The name of the space shuttle that was lost was Columbia.

 

(e) When did Kalpana die?

Ans.> Kalpana died on February 1, 2003, when Columbia was lost with its crew during re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere.

 

(f) What has been named after Kalpana?

Ans.> A hill on Mars, along with a star in deep space, has been named after Kalpana.

Night Sky 

One moonlit night I experienced an open sky. I looked at the sky at the top of our village. It was a clear sky of autumn. The stars were twinkling in the sky. heard the sounds of the aeroplane and also saw it. I was amazed to see the beauty of the sky at night.
