Biswanathan Anand is a famous sportsperson of our country. He was born in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu in the year 1969. He loved to play  chess. He started his first schooling at Don Bosco, Egmore, Chennai.  He took part in many chess copitition and earned fame throughout the world. He became India’s first grandmaster in 1988.
