Ans: Rabindranath, a great poet, composed ‘Gitanjali’.

 

16. She was late for the quiz contest. She performed well. (Join using ‘though’)

17. Ramesh is an excellent singer. He also plays the guitar well. (Not only ------- but also)

18. He was a famous man. His fame spread throughout the world. (Nominal Compound)

Ans: He was a world-famous man.
