5. Write a paragraph on 'Your Visit to a Book Fair'. Use the following points.

[Points : Date and place - number of stalls-crowd-cultural activities—books bought by you-your impression.]

Ans.>

I am very fond of fairs and festivals. They lessen the monotony of routine-bound life. But of all festivals, I like the book fair most. It is usually held in winter. Last year I visited the Kolkata Bookfair. The fair was held in the Salt Lake Stadium. It was a grand feast of books. The ground was tastefully decorated. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. I breathed in an air of learning. The soft and sweet strains of music filled the air. Lots of people were found crowding their favourite stalls. Men, women, and children were busy buying books of their choice. I bought two great books ‘Geetanjali’ and ‘Pather Pachali’. The stalls with their amazing architectural designs and a variety of their publications invited the book-lovers. I moved from stall to stall and bought some books. I also enjoyed a talk-show of many stalwarts of art and literature. As evening approached I was back. It was a thrilling experience for me.
