Ans.> The stranger looked peculiar. He was a short old man with thick bushy hair and a beard.
(b) What happened after Rip had drunk the liquid?
Ans.> After Rip drunk the liquid, his eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep for long twenty years.
(c) Why was Rip surprised when he came near the village?
Ans.> When Rip came near the village, he was surprised because he met many people he had never seen before. There were rows of houses in his village and strange names were over the doors.
(d) What did Rip suddenly notice?
Ans.> Rip suddenly noticed that his beard had grown a foot long.

Ans.> Once upon a time I went on a tour with my friends in a forest. When the sun went down, we decided to stay in a house in the forest for that night. We all friends slept in separate rooms. When I woke up in the morning, I saw all my friends were gone out. I was very shocked and got frightened. Finally, I came out of the forest immediately.
