Environmental Pollution

Today the world is facing a serious change against its eco-balance. The environment is getting polluted. Environmental pollution has affected our lives so adversely that millions of people die annually and a lot more suffer continuously. Rapid industrialization and deforestation are at the root of the problem. Smoke and smog vitiate the air, and toxic chemicals, metals oils, and household waste pollute water. Dumping garbage and widespread use of inorganic manure and pesticides create land pollution. Besides, there are means of sound pollution. It is mainly caused by the honking of horns brass, the bursting of crackers, and the reckless use of loudspeakers. All this contributes to the sharp rise of deadly diseases and does incalculable damage to the eco-balance. Obviously, we can control pollution by afforestation. And the responsibility in this regard is ours. If we strive hard to depollute the environment, we can hope for a pollution-free world.

পরিবেশ দূষণ 

আজ বিশ্ব তার ইকো-ভারসাম্যের বিরুদ্ধে একটি গুরুতর পরিবর্তনের মুখোমুখি। পরিবেশ দূষিত হচ্ছে। পরিবেশ দূষণ আমাদের জীবনকে এতটাই বিরূপভাবে প্রভাবিত করেছে যে বছরে লক্ষাধিক মানুষ মারা যায় এবং অনেক বেশি মানুষ ক্রমাগত ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়। সমস্যার মূলে রয়েছে দ্রুত শিল্পায়ন ও বন উজাড়। ধোঁয়া ও ধোঁয়া বাতাসকে বিকৃত করে, এবং বিষাক্ত রাসায়নিক, ধাতব তেল এবং গৃহস্থালির বর্জ্য পানিকে দূষিত করে। আবর্জনা ফেলা এবং অজৈব সার ও কীটনাশকের ব্যাপক ব্যবহার ভূমি দূষণের সৃষ্টি করে। এছাড়া শব্দদূষণের মাধ্যম তো আছেই। এটি প্রধানত হর্ন পিতলের হর্নিং, পটকা ফাটানো এবং লাউডস্পিকারের বেপরোয়া ব্যবহারের কারণে ঘটে। এই সবই মারাত্মক রোগের তীব্র বৃদ্ধিতে অবদান রাখে এবং পরিবেশের ভারসাম্যের অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি করে। স্পষ্টতই, আমরা বনায়নের মাধ্যমে দূষণ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারি। আর এ ব্যাপারে দায়িত্ব আমাদের। আমরা যদি পরিবেশ দূষিত করার জন্য আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করি তবে আমরা দূষণমুক্ত বিশ্বের আশা করতে পারি।
